Mahedi Kamal

Hi, I’m Mahedi Kamal from Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I completed my BSc in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from the Military Institute of Science and Technology. After graduation, I joined Frontier Semiconductor as a Software Engineer, where I worked for more than two years. During my time there, I had the opportunity to visit the UMC Singapore fabrication facility twice for semiconductor tool installation. In 2026, I began my PhD in Computer Science at the University at Albany, State University of New York. My research interests lie primarily in computer vision. Currently I am working with splatting methods for improving 3D.

  • Experimenting with transfer learning
